Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for Block Listing of 20,000,000 Ordinary shares of 0.5p each of
Stagecoach Holding Plc to be admitted to the Official List.  The shares to be
issued are in respect of the Stagecoach Executive Share Option Scheme.


The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
