                           iSOFT Group plc ("iSOFT")

                             Torex Retail Business


The Board of iSOFT announces that the Company is in advanced exclusive
negotiations to sell the Torex Retail Business for approximately #65 million,
including repayment of intra-group debt and the assumption of ongoing
liabilities relating to the Torex Retail Business.  The sale is conditional,
inter alia, on the proposed purchaser securing the necessary equity finance.


The Torex Retail Business comprises all of the retail activities of the iSOFT
Group, being Torex Retail Limited, Torex Retail (Holdings) Limited and their
respective subsidiary undertakings, together with 69.8 per cent of the issued
share capital of Logware Informationssysteme GmbH.
