The Company announces that on 2 October 2006 Rose Foster (Chief Executive)
exercised 97,078 share options under the Monsoon plc Executive Share Option
Scheme at 72.5 pence each.

As a result of the above transaction, Rose Foster will be interested in 97,078
ordinary shares, representing 0.05% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
company.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of
97,078 Ordinary Shares of 10p on AIM. Subsequent to the issue, the number of
issued shares in the Company will be 177,970,068.

Admission and trading is expected to become effective on 6th October 2006
