Bema Gold Corporation ("the Company")



Further re: Acquisition by Kinross Gold


Further to the announcement on 7 November 2006 of the acquisition of the
Company's entire share capital by Kinross Gold, the Company hereby gives notice
of the expected cancellation of trading of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital on AIM, pursuant to Rule 41 of the AIM Rules.

It is expected that the Company's shares will be cancelled from trading on AIM
on 22 February 2007.
