                CHARTERHOUSE COMMUNICATIONS PLC ("the Company")

                        CHANGE IN SHAREHOLDER DISCLOSURE





The Company has been informed by a letter from Custodial Capital Management
Limited dated 26 March 2007 that Co-operation Retirement Benefit Fund (L)
Limited disposed of its entire shareholding in the Company of 30,778,453
ordinary shares in an off-market transaction. The buyer of the shares was
Financial Media Holdings Limited. As such, Financial Media Holdings Limited is
now interested in 30,778,453 ordinary shares representing 24.95% of the issued
ordinary shares in the Company.



Custodial Capital Management Limited is the investment manager of both
Co-operation Retirement Benefit Fund (L) Limited and Financial Media Holdings
Limited.
