                          Suspension to trading on AIM



Pursuant to AIM Rule 15, Penmc plc has today had its shares suspended to trading
on AIM as the Company has still not fulfilled its investment strategy as
disclosed in the preliminary results. In accordance with the preliminary results
announcement made on 27 February 2007, the shares will continue to be suspended
for 6 months as of today and in the event that the strategy is still
unfulfilled, the Company's listing on AIM will be cancelled on 3 October 2007.
