AIM RELEASE
KIMBERLEY DIAMOND COMPANY NL (the Company) (AIM: KDC)

The Company hereby advises that it has received a notice of change of interests
of significant holder from UBS Nominees Pty Ltd and its related bodies
corporate (UBS).

UBS has reduced its holding in the Company from 53,674,930 shares (12.51
percent) to 45,560,633 shares (10.62 percent) of the Company's issued capital.
UBS has also advised that as the shares were held by it on behalf of prime
brokerage clients there was no trading to be reported.
