KIMBERLEY DIAMOND COMPANY NL (the Company) (AIM: KDC)

The Company advises that Gem Diamonds Australia Pty Ltd (Gem), under the terms
of the First Supplementary Bidder's Statement dated 14 September 2007, has
increased its holding and percentage in the Company to 113,496,217 shares being
26.45%.
