                    Results of Extraordinary General Meeting

Minmet announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") held today,
the shareholders present agreed to further adjourn the EGM to 12:00 noon on
Friday, 18 July 2008 at the Burlington, Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4. The
Company has, on 11 June 2008, already convened a separate EGM for 12:00 noon on
Friday 18 July 2008 in any event, which will now consider all outstanding
resolutions.
