    SIGMA FINANCE CORPORATION


    In light of the effect of the further turmoil in the financial markets over the last few days on Sigma's financial position, the board
of Sigma has decided to cease trading and is expecting the appointment of a receiver.  In the meantime, both Gordian and Sigma are taking
all necessary steps to ensure that the interests of all creditors of Sigma are safeguarded and the FSA has been advised. Gordian is liaising
with professional advisers and with the security trustee for Sigma's secured beneficiaries. Sigma will not be making any payments to
counterparties during this period.
