Market Update 
 
 
The Board of Sibir has noted today's announcement by Renaissance Capital 
(Cyprus) Limited on behalf of JSC Gazprom Neft ("Gazrpom Neft") inviting 
shareholders to offer their Sibir shares for sale and the fact that no fixed 
price is being offered in relation to prospective purchases of shares. The Board 
wishes to draw shareholders attention to the fact that in a recent series of 
transactions Gazprom Neft paid GBP5 per share for shares in the Company and in 
the view of the Board shareholders should be guided by the price paid by 
Gazpromneft in these recent transactions.
