Total Voting Rights and Share Capital 
 
 
Osmetech PLC ('Osmetech' or 'the Company') (AIM:OMH) today announces  that in 
conformity with the Transparency Directive, Osmetech's issued ordinary share 
capital as at 30 June 2009 consists of 1,153,642,510 ordinary shares with a 
nominal value of 0.1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares'), with voting rights. 
Osmetech does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total 
number of voting rights in Osmetech is 1,153,642,510. 
 
 
The above figure of 1,153,642,510 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as 
the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are 
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Osmetech 
under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
