The Company announces that pursuant to Condition 3 of the terms and conditions (the "Conditions") of the GBP125,000,000 9.00 per cent. Callable Subordinated Notes due 2015 issued by the Company of which a principal amount of GBP69,767,000 remains outstanding (the "Notes"), The Royal Bank of Scotland plc in its capacity as Determination Agent has determined the Reset Rate to be 7.285 per cent. per annum in respect of the period from and including the Reset Date (being 21 December 2010) to but excluding the Maturity Date.

Terms defined in the Conditions shall have the same meaning when used in this notice.
