AGM Statement

Appointment of CEO

The Rethink Group plc (AIM: RTG), one of the UK's leading recruitment, talent management and technology services companies, will hold its Annual General Meeting at 11am today, 25 June 2013, at Rethink's headquarters located at 52-54 Southwark Street, London, SE1 1UN.

At the AGM, Group Chairman, John Sadiq, will report that Rethink is trading in line with management expectations and that an update on trading in the first half of 2013 will be made in early July.

Appointment of CEO

Steve Wright, who had been appointed Interim CEO in January 2013, has now been appointed as permanent CEO with immediate effect. Following an internal review and after considering the progress made in the first 6 months of the year, the Board believes Steve is the right person to continue to build the business and to drive Rethink forward as a leader in Managed Services, optimally positioned for medium to long term growth.

Prior to joining Rethink in March 2012, Steve was Director of Finance & Operations at RP International Limited, an international telecommunications recruitment company. Steve has considerable experience of the recruitment and IT services sectors, having held senior roles at Computer People, Thomson NETG and Hot Group Plc.

Steve qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 at Ernst & Young and holds a BA Hons in Accounting and Law from the University of Kent.
