Change of CEO and Director

IRF European Finance Investments Ltd announces that Mr. Panagiotis Throuvalas has been appointed as CEO and director of IRF, replacing Mr. Loucas Valetopoulos, who has resigned as a director and CEO of the Company. The change of directors is effective as of 26 June 2014.

Mr. Throuvalas studied Economics (B.A) at the University of Athens and holds a graduate degree in Economics (M.A. in Economics) from Manitoba University (Canada). Mr Throuvalas has been working since 1982 in the fields of Finance and Investments, having served as Chief Financial Officer of the Theoharakis Group and a board member in several companies, including among others, NIK. THEOHARAKIS S.A. (commercial company), TEODOMI AKTE (construction company; as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors), MINETTA Insurance company, METROPOLITAN Hospital, MARFIN EGNATIA Bank and several of its subsidiaries. He has participated in the design and implementation of business plans with emphasis on financial and operational implementation. Mr Throuvalas also serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member of Marfin Investment Group.
