Intention to Launch an Offer for Subscription

The Directors of Amati VCT plc are pleased to announce that they intend to launch a top up offer in conjunction with Amati VCT 2 plc ("the Companies" and each a "Company"). The capacity of these offers will be subject to the rules governing non-prospectus offers, which over the course of 12 months will enable each company to raise up to approximately GBP3.5m, or GBP7m in aggregate. Funds raised under the offers will be used by each Company to make investments in accordance with its existing investment policies.

The subscription document for the offers, which will contain the full terms and conditions, will be available from www.amatiglobal.com as soon as the offers are launched.
