The Board of Nottingham Building Society are pleased to announce that Peter O'Donnell has been appointed to its Board of Directors with effect from 1 January 2021.

O'Donnell brings over 30 years of valuable experience across a diverse range of finance and operational roles at financial services organisations including Unum, Aviva, RSA and Prudential.

In his most recent role at leading employee benefits provider, Unum, O'Donnell served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the UK business and as Executive Vice President of its International arm. During his time there, Mr O'Donnell made significant contributions to the growth of the Unum brand in the UK and oversaw its expansion into Europe.
