Notification of Auditor Resignation
Annington Funding plc (the "Company") gives notice that
effective 28 January 2021, KPMG LLP ("KPMG") has resigned from its
role as statutory auditor. The resignation flows from the Directors
of the Company wishing to be able to engage KPMG in other non-audit
services that would not be compatible with KPMG remaining as
auditor to the Company.
The resignation of KPMG follows a competitive tender process, in
which KPMG did not participate. BDO LLP was the successful tenderer
and has been selected as auditor by the Directors of the
Company.
