Chairman Succession and Board Change

Treatt, the manufacturer and supplier of a diverse and sustainable portfolio of natural extracts and ingredients for the beverage, flavour and fragrance industries, announces that following an extensive selection process Vijay Thakrar is appointed Chairman Designate and will succeed Tim Jones, who has informed the Board of his intention to retire as Chairman of the Group at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 27 January 2023.

Vijay joined the Board of Treatt as an independent Non-executive director on 1 September 2020. He is currently a Non-executive director on the Boards of Alpha FX Group plc and RSM UK Holdings Limited and Non-executive Chairman of Alumasc Group plc.

Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt, commented "I am delighted to announce that Vijay will succeed me as Chairman of Treatt next year. Vijay has substantial experience from a broad business and non-executive career covering a number of large international organisations, as well as extensive knowledge of Treatt.

I am extremely proud to have served as Treatt's Chairman and to have been part of the Company's evolution and development and look forward to the remaining months of my tenure."

Board Change

The Company's announces that Lynne Weedall has informed the Board of her intention to resign as a Non-executive Director with effect from 17 September 2022, in order to devote more time to her other board commitments.

Tim Jones, Chairman of Treatt, commented "I would like to express the thanks of the Company and the Board to Lynne for her contribution to the Treatt Group since April 2019 and for her work in leading various board appointment as Chair of the Nomination Committee. We wish her well in her future endeavours."
