Leadership Update

Dublin-Ireland, 5 July 2023: Malin Corporation plc. (Euronext Growth Dublin:MLC) ("Malin", the "Company"), today announces that following Malin's significant capital realisations and shareholder returns over the past four years, its Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"), Darragh Lyons, will leave the Company before the end of 2023. Fiona Dunlevy will assume the role of Executive Director from 2 October 2023 and join Malin's board of directors. Malin's Chairman, Liam Daniel, will also undertake additional responsibilities as an Executive Chairman from 2 October 2023. The leadership of the Company will transition from Mr Lyons to Ms Dunlevy and Mr Daniel over the following period and they will continue the work to maximise shareholder returns by protecting and enhancing the value of Malin's remaining positions in its investee companies. Mr Lyons will step down as member of the board on his departure as CEO. The leadership changes are consistent with the continuous aim of operating within a lean and efficient infrastructure that is aligned with the breadth of the underlying assets.

Commenting on the leadership changes, Mr Daniel stated, "Darragh has successfully led the Malin business since 2019 and during this time, Malin has made considerable progress in executing on its business strategy and returning capital to shareholders. We thank Darragh for his work and significant contributions to Malin over the years and wish him well in the future. The board of directors is delighted that Fiona Dunlevy, who has been with Malin in various leadership roles since 2015 and most recently served as Company Secretary, has agreed to work with me in leading the business going forward. Darragh will work closely with Fiona and me over the coming months to ensure that there is a comprehensive transition of leadership responsibilities."

Ms. Dunlevy added, "I am delighted to take up the role of Executive Director in Malin and to work alongside Liam to continue the work to maximise shareholder returns. Having worked closely with Darragh in managing our assets for several years, I believe that there is significant additional value creation potential in our remaining assets which can support additional returns of capital to our shareholders."
