TARGET: Malaysian paints and coatings manufacturer Colourland Paints Sdn Bhd and Colourland Paints (Marketing) Sdn Bhd.

PRICE: Undisclosed.

RATIONALE: The acquisition strengthens the company's business in Asia and expands its product offering and distribution network, Akzo Nobel said.
