Marisa Cassoni to Retire Next Year

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11R, the John Lewis Partnership announces that Marisa Cassoni has decided to retire from full-time executive responsibilities next year and plans to step down from her role as the Partnership's Finance Director after completing the 2011/12 reporting cycle, and as soon as a successor has been appointed thereafter.
