                      Deal Group Media plc ("the Company")

                             Director Shareholding


The Company was notified on Wednesday 18 April that, on that day, Paul
Alexander, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 482,965 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 3.25 pence
per share and a further 33,879 Ordinary Shares at a price of 3.1 pence per
share.

Following this acquisition, Mr. Alexander has a beneficial interest in the
Company's issued share capital of 516,844 Ordinary Shares representing 0.13 per
cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.
