Notice of EGM 
 
 
Revision of Group Borrowings Limit and Ratification of Certain Past Borrowings 
 
 
The Board of Dyson announces that a circular convening an extraordinary general 
meeting ("EGM") has been posted to shareholders today. 
 
 
The circular contains proposals, for which shareholder approval is required, to 
increase the limit on borrowings imposed by Dyson's articles of association in 
order to be sufficient for the Group's borrowings requirements and also to 
ratify any breaches of the borrowings restriction that may have occurred since 
31 March 2008. 
 
 
The EGM is to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 5 June 2009 at Buchanan Communications, 
6th Floor, 45 Moorfields, London EC2Y 9AE. 
 
 
Copies of the circular have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will 
shortly be available for inspection by the public during normal business hours 
on any week day (public holidays excepted) at the UK Listing Authority's 
Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at the Financial Services 
Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
