The Board of Pex plc announces that it has taken the decision to sell its
subsidiary Bridgedale 2000 Ltd.

In addition we are in negotiations with our trade and banking creditors
concerning the difficulties the Group is experiencing at present.

The Board is taking advice in respect of the action to be taken.
