Pex plc ("Pex") Dividend Update

Further to the announcement on 14 April 1998 stating the boards' intention to
pay a dividend of 0.08p per share, the Board of Pex confirm that the expected
payment date of this dividend is expected to be 9 October 1998 and the record
date is expected to be 11 September 1998.
