Rotork, the specialist international engineering group,
announces it has acquired all of the issued share capital of Valco
Valves & Automation AS (VVA), its Norwegian sales and service
agent from Valco Group AS.
The value of the gross assets acquired was approximately GBP2
million with a net cash outflow of GBP0.6 million.
Rotork Group Chief Executive, Peter France, said:
"The acquisition of VVA strengthens our presence in the
important Norwegian market. Our strategy is to provide our
customers with local support and this acquisition continues our
international expansion plan."
