Result of Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM")

The directors of Widney PLC ("Widney" or the "Company") announce that the
resolution proposed at the EGM held today in connection with the proposed sale
of land and property at Far Cotton, Northampton and sale and leaseback of land
and property at Lichfield Road, Walsall was duly passed by shareholders.
