ROSELAND, N.J., March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/
-- ADP®, a leading provider of human capital
management services, today launched ADP Pro, an educational program
specifically designed to give midsized companies multiple
opportunities to engage with ADP subject matter experts on a range
of human capital management issues, learn industry best practices
and expand their professional credentials.
"Midsized businesses face new and unique challenges – everything
from increased government regulation to the growing cost of
healthcare," said Regina Lee,
President, Major Account Services, National Account Services,
GlobalView® and ADP Canada at ADP. "ADP Pro takes
our superior client engagement to the next level by linking our
deep roster of subject matter experts with clients to learn how
unified human resources management tools can dramatically impact
business performance."
ADP's professional certification is a key component of the ADP
Pro program. To date, more than 2,000 payroll and human
resources professionals have earned this credential, which many see
as an employment differentiator. ADP certification is offered
twice a year during the Spring and Fall. The program includes
virtual test preparation classes and requires an in-person exam at
one of Pearson VUE's more than 200 national testing centers.
Candidates who complete ADP's test preparation classes earn
Continuing Education (CE) Credits at the rate of 1.5 Continuing
Professional Education (CPE) Credits, 1.5 Recertification Credit
Hours (RCH) or 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Payroll
and human resources professionals at midsized companies will have
access to ADP's growing list of certification areas, which includes
ADP Workforce Now®, the company's primary human
resources management solution for midsized companies.
The ADP Pro program also features ongoing training opportunities
through a new series of webinars that are free for clients.
Running twice a month, these webinars will showcase best
practices across a variety of topics from healthcare reform and
risk management to navigating the social media landscape. The
ADP Pro webinar series offers clients another way to earn
Continuing Education Credits and can be accessed via ADP's client
portal. The first webinar will take place on March 13 and will focus on empowering a mobile
workforce. On March 27, another
webinar will take place focusing on the U.S. Affordable Care
Act.
ADP will also offer in-person access to ADP Pros at their
semiannual regional User Group Meetings. At ADP's User Group
Meetings midsized businesses will be able to receive one-on-one
insights from the company's internal experts on timely business
issues while receiving training on ADP's ever-evolving product
set.
"By offering convenient training opportunities that yield
continuing education credits and provide direct access to experts
in areas like compliance, ADP Pro will help my organization take a
best practice approach to workforce management," said Roslyn H. Schaffer, SPHR, Director of Human
Resources at The Barnes Foundation, a major institution that
promotes the advancement of education and the appreciation of the
fine arts with campuses in Philadelphia and Merion, Pennsylvania, and an ADP client.
