A Deletion from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index
TORONTO, April 25, 2014 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian
Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX
Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of MEGA Brands Inc. (TSX:MB)
have approved a Plan of Arrangement with Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT).
MEGA Brands shareholders will receive $CDN17.75 cash for each share held. MEGA Brands
will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index after the close
of trading on Tuesday, April 29,
2014.
