Mattel Inc. on Thursday said it would introduce on April 27 a peer-to-peer marketplace allowing users to display, trade and sell the company's branded virtual collectibles.

The Mattel Creations Virtual Collectibles Platform will host the marketplace, news of which comes a day after the toy company and Gap Inc. announced an apparel collaboration.
