Jeb Bush will resign from Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s board
effective Dec. 31, the hospital operator said Wednesday.
Mr. Bush, the Republican former governor of Florida, announced
last week that he is exploring running for president.
Tenet's board size will be reduced to nine from 10, the company
said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Bush is also a member of the boards of Rayonier Inc.,
Empower Software Solutions and CorMatrix.
The Financial Times reported last week that Mr. Bush was
stepping down from his role as an adviser to Barclays.
