Gen2Media Expands Leadership Team With Appointment of Shawn Portmann as Executive Vice President

Names Kirk Young as Vice President, Strategic Alliances and
Partnerships ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Gen2Media Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GTWO), a digital media
network where broadcast meets broadband, today announced that it
has appointed Shawn Portmann, a 30-year Media industry veteran, as
Executive Vice President. Portmann will lead the Company's
strategic business development activities, overseeing the
implementation of sales and marketing initiatives and the
management of key client accounts and channel partner
relationships. Commenting on Portmann's appointment, Gen2Media

Broadcast Media industries, most recently served as Chief Operating
Officer of i.d.e.a.s. at Disney-MGM Studios, a multimedia company
that produces film, television and digital media for the worldwide
market and provides post production services for the corporate and
broadcast markets. From 1978 through 2001, Portmann built a notable
career in television and radio broadcasting, serving as Vice
President and General Manager of WXPX-TV Channel 66, a Paxson
Communications property in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida; Vice
President and General Manager of six Clear Channel radio properties
in Fort Myers, Florida with combined sales of over $75 million; and
Vice President and General Manager of WYNF-FM/WSUN-AM, CBS
Broadcasting-owned radio stations in Tampa, where at the age of 32,
he was the youngest person ever to hold the title of Vice
President/General Manager of a CBS owned and operated station;
General Sales Manager of WSUN-AM in Tampa and Account Executive
with WDVE-FM in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - both radio properties of
Taft Broadcasting Company at that time. Portmann served on the
Florida Emergency Communication Committee and was a Legislative
Liaison for the National Association of Broadcasters in Washington,
D.C. He is the Past President of the Tampa Bay Area Radio
Broadcasters Association; former Chairman (two terms) of the
Florida Association of Broadcasters; and a prior board member of
The Children's Home in Tampa, Florida; Tampa Bay Performing Arts
Center; and Bay Area Media Network. After earning a Bachelor of
Science degree from Ohio State University, he graduated Sigma Cum
Laude from Tampa College where he earned a Masters in Business
Administration. In addition, Gen2Media named Kirk Young as Vice
President, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships. Reporting to
Portmann, Young will be based in New York City and focus primarily
on establishing and supporting the Company's fast growing ecosystem
of major clients, channel partners and network alliance

experience also includes senior sales and marketing positions at

Radio, an Infinity Broadcasting property in Atlanta, Georgia; MMT
Television Sales; and WBBM FM/B96, a CBS-owned radio station in
Chicago, Illinois. He also earned valuable sales and marketing
experience while serving as an Account Executive at Morgan Stanley,
Dean Witter in New York from 1995 through 1999. Young earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Columbia College, where
