The U.S. House Financial Services Committee will consider a resolution Friday seeking to obtain all correspondence between the Obama Administration's auto task force and General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC.

The intent is to determine what role the administration played in certain aspects of the auto makers' restructurings, including decisions on dealership closings and reductions in worker benefits. Some lawmakers have accused the auto task force of pushing unfair concessions from stakeholders during the restructurings.
