Wireless Matrix (TSX: WRX) customers are expanding their existing relationships by adopting new application services and hardware solutions, the company announced today.

Two established multi-mode communication customers in the gas and electric utility industries serving consumers in the mid-Atlantic and the south recently layered on Wireless Matrix's FleetOutlook� solution in their mobile fleets. The implementation of FleetOutlook's location-based services will drive greater productivity in field operations.

The decision by existing customers to add solutions such as FleetOutlook to their Wireless Matrix deployment represents expanded opportunities for the company. One utility will deploy new services for 250 technicians with growth potential to 1,300. The other gas and electric company has increased adoption to more than 800 subscribers with a potential of 1,400 total technicians.
