Alphamin Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AFM) ("Alphamin" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce that its previously announced private placement of
100,000,000 common shares (the "Shares") for gross proceeds of $13,500,000 (the
"Private Placement") has closed. The Shares will have a four-month hold period
following the date of their issuance. Further details of the Private Placement
