AuRo Resources Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ARU) announces that it is
cancelling the proposed private placement announced on December 17, 2012.


The Company has decided to cancel the private placement of Units originally
announced on December 17, 2012. The directors of the Company determined that the
private placement would be unfair to existing shareholders and is currently not
in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders.
