802 11/01/2007Assim, se retomar o positivo e ficar na faixa dos 48,10 , talvez um bom volume de recompra de opções possa dar um solavanco na cotação.
vamo ver.

742 21/08/2007Vale (VALE5.SA: Quote, Profile, Research)(RIO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has just hammered out an iron ore price rise of 65 percent to 71 percent with its clients for this year.
Some other ore producers have suggested setting up a mixed pricing system, where spot market prices would play a bigger role.
Vale's Ferrous Metals Executive Director Jose Carlos Martins said trading houses were to a big extent responsible for the recent oil price rally that took a barrel to record highs above $100.
"When we negotiate, we do it face-to-face, with no trading companies involved. There are no mediators ... I don't think any floating system will help to balance out demand and supply," Martins told the conference.
The current system has been working efficiently for 30 years, he said.
Vale is involved in complex negotiations to buy Swiss-based rival Xstrata (XTA.L: Quote, Profile, Research). The main stumbling block there, according to Vale, is a discussion over marketing rights for some of Xstrata's products with Swiss trading house Glencore.
Glencore, which holds about 35 percent stake in Xstrata, seeks to retain or even expand marketing rights with the sale.
But Vale officials say Glencore has no claim on iron ore marketing rights. Vale CEO Roger Agnelli has said the company reached its limits in talks with Glencore on marketing rights and the future of the deal was in the trader's hands.
If the takeover is successful, Vale would become the world's biggest nickel producer and a copper major.
Martins declined to comment on the progress in Xstrata talks. Local newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo said top executives from Xstrata and Glencore were in Brazil this week. (Reporting by Denise Luna, writing by Andrei Khalip; Editing by Walter Bagley)

3078 02/12/2006A source familiar with the matter in London said talks were reaching a conclusion, although he declined to say whether they were likely to end with an agreement on the takeover or not.
Shares in Anglo-Swiss Xstrata gained 2.3 percent to 39.40 pounds by 1605 GMT, swimming against a 0.6 percent fall in the UK mining index .
An acquisition of Xstrata by Vale could be worth $90 billion and would mark one of the world's biggest takeovers.
O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper reported that the head of Glencore, Xstrata's biggest shareholder, and Xstrata Chief Executive Mick Davis were coming to Brazil to try to find a solution in a "last-ditch effort".
Vale's chief spokesman declined to comment and said he had no information on Vale's meetings with Glencore, Xstrata's top brass or their agendas.
Vale's Chief Executive Roger Agnelli was at home with a broken foot, so he would not be able to travel to Europe for talks, a source close to Vale said.
Xstrata declined to comment

Paulo, pra mim os caras da Glencore estão ficando preocupados com a possibilidade da Vale desistir o que faria o mercado queimar pelo menos 15% de gordura adquirida desde o boato da aquisição.
Pra mim a Vale tá pagando muita grana!
rsrsrs
boca pra fora, mas to remunerando com venda coberta hehehe
