Business Wire
Biomagnetics Diagnostics Corp., (PINK SHEETS:BMGP - News) a
developer of revolutionary diagnostic systems and technology for
HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, Cholera and malaria detection, and
other innovative technologies, today announced the Company will
meet with scientific and research leaders at the Global
Tuberculosis Surveillance Workshop, sponsored by Los Alamos
National Laboratory. The conference will bring together experts
from around the world with the intent of building a research
community dedicated to developing techniques and strategies for the
surveillance and management of drug-resistant tuberculosis. The
Workshop is being held this week in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Clayton Hardman, CEO of Biomagnetics Diagnostics Corp. advised,
“This is an extremely important event in establishing relationships
on a global basis. Many tuberculosis detection technologies lack
accuracy and are still too expensive to be deployed in many parts
of the world where tuberculosis is endemic. Importantly, the main
objective of these meetings is to develop and demonstrate the
underlying capabilities for high throughput screening and analysis,
and we believe Biomagnetics is particularly well equipped to
contribute toward these goals.”
Mr. Hardman continued, “As we move closer to the completion of
our collaborative research agreement with our research partners,
the integrated optical biosensor technology is gaining increased
exposure and receiving increased attention. We are confident that
the integrated optical biosensor product we plan to introduce to
the market holds strong potential to revolutionize tuberculosis
diagnostics worldwide.” Mr. Hardman concluded, “We plan on meeting
with as many of the participants as time permits".
