Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX) (the “Company”)
today reported results for the quarter and annual period ended
December 31, 2024.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2024, net income was $145.9
million, or $4.09 per diluted share, as compared to $91.6 million,
or $2.55 per diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31,
2023. Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2024 was $1.87 billion
compared to $1.36 billion in 2023. The Company reported operating
cash flow of $210.5 million in the current quarter compared to
$173.0 million in 2023.
Backlog as of December 31, 2024 was $5.99 billion as compared to
$5.68 billion as of September 30, 2024 and $5.16 billion as of
December 31, 2023. On a same-store basis, backlog increased from
$5.16 billion as of December 31, 2023 to $5.60 billion as of
December 31, 2024.
The Company reported net income of $522.4 million, or $14.60 per
diluted share, for the twelve months ended December 31, 2024, as
compared to $323.4 million, or $9.01 per diluted share in 2023. The
Company also reported revenue of $7.03 billion for the twelve
months ended December 31, 2024, as compared to $5.21 billion in
2023. Operating cash flow for the twelve months ended December 31,
2024 was $849.1 million, as compared to $639.6 million in 2023.
