BHP Group Ltd. reported higher output for all of its commodities quarter-on-quarter, while forecasting steady iron-ore output and increased copper production for the year ahead.

The world's biggest mining company by market value on Tuesday also said it is working to bring forward first production from its Jansen potash project, and needs to assess the outlook for its metallurgical coal business after Australia's Queensland state increased royalty rates.
