Encompass Health amended its clawback policy, including new terms to comply with a Securities and Exchange Commission rule approved last October related to recovery of erroneously awarded incentive-based compensation.

Encompass said its amendment provides for the company's mandatory recovery of erroneously awarded executive compensation in the event of an accounting restatement.

In June, Uber amended its clawback policy, with an Oct. 2 effective date, in order to comply with the SEC's final rules. Also in June, WD-40 adopted a clawback policy, which becomes effective Oct. 2. Victoria's Secret adopted a clawback policy last November.
