NOTICE TO THE MARKET
São Paulo, January
17, 2024 - BRASKEM S.A. ("Braskem" or "Company") (Ticker B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK)
hereby informs its shareholders and the market that its subsidiary Braskem Netherlands B.V. (“Braskem BV”) has signed an agreement
(“Agreement”) with Shell Chemicals Europe B.V. (“Shell”) to produce circular polypropylene from mixed plastic
waste. Under the Agreement, Shell will supply circular propylene to Braskem BV to produce circular polypropylene in its plants in Wesseling,
Germany.
The Agreement is part of
Braskem’s Wenew ecosystem, a concept that represents and consolidates Braskem’s efforts in the circular economy, and is aligned
with the recycling growth avenue of Braskem’s Corporate Strategy for 2030 which has the goal to achieve 1 million tons of resins
and chemicals products with recycled content by 2030.
