JFT Strategies Fund Closes Treasury Offering

JFT Strategies Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:JFS.UN) announces that it has completed
its treasury offering (the "Offering") of Class A Units and Class F Units, for
gross proceeds of $50 million. The Fund has granted the agents for the Offering
an over-allotment option to purchase additional Class A Units in an amount up to
15% of the aggregate number of Class A Units issued in connection with the
Offering at $12.35 per unit exercisable at any time during the next thirty days.


The syndicate of agents for the Offering was led by CIBC, co-led by National
Bank Financial Inc., RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc., and included
Scotiabank, BMO Capital Markets, GMP Securities LP, Canaccord Genuity Corp.,
Raymond James Ltd. and Desjardins Securities Inc.
