MGM Promotes Mark B. Crowley to Executive Vice President - Labor
Relations LOS ANGELES, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has promoted Mark B. Crowley to executive vice
president - labor relations, announced MGM Senior ExecutiveVice
President and Secretary William A. Jones, to whom Crowley reports.

experience through many labor contract cycles has afforded him not
only a wealth of key relationships but also a thorough
understanding of the labor issues facing our industry today."
Crowley is responsible for more than 60 MGM collective-bargaining
agreements with organizations in the United States, Canada and the
United Kingdom. He is both the company's chief negotiator on those
contracts and the chief corporate spokesman regarding them.
Previously, he was senior vice president - labor relations. Crowley
first came to MGM in 1985 as director of legal affairs, industrial
relations, and left in 1987 to serve as vice president, industrial
relations for Turner Entertainment Co. He returned to MGM as vice
president - labor relations in 1994. Previously, he worked as a
field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, and was an
attorney in private practice. He served two years as a Marine in
Vietnam, and received a bachelor's degree in political science from
Northwestern Oklahoma State College in Alva, Okla. He earned his
juris doctor degree from California Western School of Law in San
