American Stock Exchange Lists Common Stock of Corriente Resources Inc.

NEW YORK, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) today listed the common stock of Corriente Resources Inc.
under the ticker symbol ETQ. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Corriente
is a Canadian natural mineral resource company that since 1992 has
been engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the acquisition,
exploration and development of mineral resource properties,
primarily in South America. In the past year, Corriente has
announced the results of several feasibility studies regarding the
development of its Mirador copper-gold project in southeast
Ecuador. Corriente is proceeding with the Mirador project as part
of a strategy to develop a number of identified copper deposits it
