Reputation Institute Names Aflac Most Respected Company in U.S. Insurance Industry

Annual Public Survey Puts Aflac on Top of the List COLUMBUS, Ga.,
June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- In a survey of U.S. consumers conducted in
February and March by the Reputation Institute, Aflac Incorporated
received a rating of 71.59, making Aflac the most respected company
in the U.S. Insurance Industry, according to the survey. The
ranking earned Aflac a Global Pulse 2008 Best Reputation in the
U.S. Insurance Industry award from the Reputation Institute and the
39th Most Respected Company among the largest 150 U.S. companies
measured in the study. Ten other insurance companies were rated
during the survey. "Aflac has been able to distinguish itself in
the eyes of the U.S. general public based on its corporate
