Catalog Sales to Date Total $390,000
BELLEVUE, WA, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The Tradeshow
Marketing Company, Ltd. (Pink Sheets: TSHO), a direct sales company
that represents and markets unique consumer products in multiple
sales environments, today announced an additional wholesale catalog
order for the g-Spout(R) utensil totaling approximately
$140,000. Wholesale catalog orders
now total $390,000 in the three
months since the g-Spout launched.
"We are very pleased with the continued strong interest for the
g-Spout product in the catalog sales environment, which is proving
to be a large volume opportunity for this product," said
Luniel de Beer, President and CEO of
Tradeshow Marketing. "Based on this initial success, we are
actively discussing opportunities for mass-market retail launch to
more quickly expand the market for this product. We extended the
original test campaign to evaluate additional branding, product
offer, and pricing strategies in the DRTV channel, including retail
co-marketing messages. We are presently reviewing data from the
initial test campaign and making adjustments to increase the DRTV
response toward levels we desire from that medium as well as
incorporate support for a future retail sales partnership."
Tradeshow expects to recognize revenue ramp associated with the
initial and follow-on g-Spout catalog orders in the Company's first
and second fiscal quarters of 2011 ending August 31 and November 30,
2010, respectively.
"Tradeshow continues to execute its overall corporate strategy
for the g-Spout and other products, including the addition of new
products," said de Beer. "Our focus is to help inventors and
product owners achieve market success in the mediums best suited to
generate sales for each particular product we represent. These
mediums may include varying levels of online, catalog, direct
response television, and ultimately, retail sales among others.
After initial test periods, we select the most appropriate venues
to achieve the overall market goals for that product, in order to
maximize revenue generation. In the case of the g-Spout, catalog
and online channels have been strong early performers and have
rapidly positioned the product for the high volume, mass market
opportunities that we are targeting for the product."
The g-Spout is a patent-pending multi-purpose kitchen tool for
straining, pouring and preparing food that easily attaches to a
skillet, double boiler or bowl. For immediate ordering and
