    BEDMINSTER, N.J., May 1 -- In relation to the listing rules 
of the London Stock Exchange AT&T Corp. has filed an application to issue up 
to 2,000,000 additional shares of AT&T common stock.  The application has been 
converted to a block share listing.  These shares are issuable in connection 
with the Company's Amended 1996 Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
