ITALY BUYS 112 Bv206S ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES
FROM ALVIS HAGGLUNDS
Alvis plc is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Alvis Hagglunds has
received an order worth approximately #40m for 112 Bv206S all-terrain vehicles
from the Italian Army. The vehicles will be delivered between 2004 and 2007. The
order represents the first phase of a programme currently planned to total 189
vehicles. Discussions continue on the additional phases.
Nick Prest, Chairman and Chief Executive of Alvis plc, commented:

position of Alvis Hagglunds in the all-terrain vehicle sector. There are a
number of other substantial all-terrain vehicle programmes planned in Europe and
